Vidya Balan looking forward to shooting ‘Te3n’

With the news of Vidya Balan being signed for Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Te3n’, the actress has gone on record stating she can’t wait to start shooting.

Having worked with Ghosh before in ‘Kahaani’ (2012), the film will also re-unite the actress with Nawazuddin Siddiqui from the same film, and Amitabh Bachchan whom Balan shared the screen with in ‘Paa’ (2009). Catching up with the media, NDTV reported Balan revealing, “I am playing a cop in the film. It’s a special appearance, but I was excited about doing it because it’s a fabulous script. I’ll get a chance to shoot again in Kolkata with Mr Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sujoy.”

Though all the elements that made up the super- hit film ‘Kahaani’ are connected with this film, the actress explained this project isn’t the same. “This is not��’Kahaani’. Its story is very different and I’m enjoying it. I have been shooting in Kolkata and I actually love shooting there. Many from the team are the same who had worked on��’Kahaani’. It’s always fun with Sujoy and there is Mr Bachchan and Nawaz too,” she added.

Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, ‘Te3n’ is set for release in 2016.
