In Video: Pratyusha Banerjee’s final film unveiled
The final short film featuring the late TV actress, Pratyusha Banerjee called ‘Kuchh Keh Na Sakey’ has been unveiled on her first death anniversary.
After the release of the teaser trailer earlier this week, the entire 18-minute video has hit the tube. As revealed by Banerjee’s friend, Kamya Punjabi, the film is based on the actress’ life. There’s also a character by the name of Rahul who features in it. Incidentally, Rahul Raj Singh – the ex boyfriend of Banerjee had filed a police complaint putting a stop to the release of the film.
Punjabi was cited in DNA India saying, “Though a work of fiction, it will seem quite similar to what Pratyusha must have gone through. She will be seen heartbroken, resorting to vices like drinking and smoking. As a narrator, I will interlink her reel and real lives, and question viewers on why people change in love and choose to remain silent sufferers. Pratyusha didn’t use glycerin while shooting the emotional scenes. I too was nursing a heartbreak at that time.”
