Viacom18’s Monika Shergill joins Netflix India

Monika Shergill has been appointed Head – Series, International Originals at Netflix India, leaving her position as Content Head at Viacom18 Digital Ventures.

AFaqs reports that Shergill has over 20 years of experience with various positions held at broadcasting giants such as Star India, Sony Entertainment Television, ZEE India, SAB TV and more recently Viacom18.

During her tenure at Viacom18, Shergill was responsible for driving content and programming strategy at the digital business of the company, since 2015.
