Verdict in Salman Khan’s 1998 black-buck case due this month

With one court case well and truly behind him, Salman Khan is now awaiting the verdict of his next – the 1998 black-buck case.

According to reports, Khan has been asked to present on the date of the verdict, which today was finalised for 18th January 2017.

The case was registered under the Arms Act by police in 1998 for alleged use and possession of arms with expired licence. It included an alleged poaching of two black bucks in Kankani village, during the shoot of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.

Arguments in the case started last December. If convicted, the superstar could face a prison sentence of up to seven years.
