Varun Grover issues statement following allegations against him
Varun Grover, best known for his comedy and writing, has categorically denied that sexual harassment allegations that have been put against him are true.
Grover, who also called out Phantom Films following their dissolution for not doing enough to protect its female employees, has issued a details statement on Twitter.
Here's my detailed statement about the completely fabricated, misleading, and defamatory allegations against me. Am absolutely willing to cooperate and clear my name. Let's not allow such agenda-driven tactics to derail this movement please. pic.twitter.com/VTFeIjygcl

Grover was accused of harassing a female student of Banaras Hindu University, in return of giving her work in plays.

Allegations have also been made by journalists and actresses against Alok Nath, Kailash Kher and Chetan Bhagat, to name a few.
It seems this #MeToo movement will be going on for some time yet.
