Varun Dhawan leaves awards event mid-way

Varun Dhawan was forced to abruptly leave an awards ceremony on Friday due to personal circumstances.

According to Mid-Day, Dhawan was in the midst of the awards event when he heard news of his makeup artist’s son involved in an fatal accident. Instead of staying at the event where he was nominated for Best Actor (Male), he rushed out to attend to be with the makeup artist.

A source close to Dhawan told Mid-Day, “Varun treats his staff members like his own family. As soon as he heard about��the death, he rushed to be by his make-up dada’s side.”
