Utsav Plus scraps ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ for ‘Chookar Mere Maan Ko’

Utsav Plus has scrapped the re-run of classic series ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ to make way for dubbed show ‘Chookar Mere Maan Ko’.
The Ekta Kapoor produced show had performed exceptionally well in the UK since its re-run launched last year. It aired at 22:30 before being shunted to 23:00. Despite moving, it managed to retain its audience.
‘Chookar Mere Maan Ko’ is the Hindi dubbed version of Bengali show ‘Anurager Chowa’, which aired on Star Jalsha. The show revolves around Deepa, who is a kind-hearted young woman who always looks out for the people in need. However, her stepmother Ratna insults her often because of her dark complexion.
