UMP Movies confirms two premieres for Diwali

Blockbuster movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and the recently released ‘Dishkiyaoon’ will be leading UMP Movies’ schedule this weekend to coincide with Diwali.

This will be the first time the Yash Chopra produced movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ will premiere outside its agreement with Sony Entertainment Television Asia. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Recently, UMP Movies has screened a slew of Yash Raj Films’ movie titles.

The channel has also secured the UK television premiere of Shilpa Shetty’s home production ‘Dishkiyaoon’, which will air for the first time. The film stars Harman Baweja, Ayehsa Khanna and Sunny Deol.

‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ will premiere on Saturday 25th October at 21:00, while ‘Dishkiyaoon’ will occupy the 21:00 slot on Sunday 26th October.
