Umar Saeed and Ammar Belal to headline PFW

After the resounding success of last September�۪s inaugural event, Riwayat are delighted to announce the second Pakistan Fashion Week in London, to be held at the Kensington & Chelsea Town Hall from the 25th – 27th May 2012.

Pakistan Fashion Week in London is expected to be much bigger than last year, with more than 30 designers participating and showing their latest creations with over 60 models. The designers will include some of Pakistan�۪s biggest names in fashion, including Umar Saeed and Ammar Belal.

Umar Saeed is a name synonymous with ultra-chic and understated glamour; hence he is one of the biggest designers in Pakistan. His name alone, invokes images embellished in kaleidoscopic colors, flowing chiffons and plush silken textiles. His creations comprise of luxurious details such as hand beading and the dazzling craftsmanship.

The textile industry owner Khwaja Belal�۪s son Ammar Belal has established himself in a very short time. He has already won the Indigo Sunday Designer of the year for his outstanding collection. Ammar Belal�۪s ABCD casual wear line was a wisecrack of American Born Confused Desi which was loved by more and more peoples. His collection helped establish his collectivity amongst a select client list that are always looking for hip-hop trendy cloths.
