UK’s first Asian women festival to take place in Birmingham

A festival to celebrate Asian women is being launched for the first time in the UK this month.

The Asian Woman Festival, founded by Shani Dhanda takes place at The New Bingley Hall in Birmingham on Saturday 30th March.

The event will celebrate “culture, conversation and art”. More than 30 businesses have been confirmed to take part in the event’s festival bazaar.

BBC WM presenter, Shay Grewal will be hosting the event.
