UK TV Reach: Venus TV overtakes ZEE TV, Star Bharat & Geo TV

Independent British Asian TV channel, Venus TV surprisingly overtook broadcasting giants ZEE TV, Geo TV and Star Bharat in latest weekly reach BARB data for week ending Sunday 1st July 2018.

Star Plus delivered a reach of 638,000 viewers (up from 608,000 viewers last week). It was the third consecutive increase for Star Plus. Meanwhile, Sony Entertainment Television remained strong with a reach of 402,000 viewers – unchanged from last week. However, it moved up to No.2 in the pecking order. This was followed by Colors with 347,000 viewers, Hum TV with 344,000 viewers, Venus TV with 269,000 viewers, ZEE TV with 234,000 viewers, Prime TV with 233,000 viewers, Star Bharat with 231,000 viewers, Geo TV with 228,000 viewers, Hum Masala with 224,000 viewers and Zing with 220,000 viewers.

The bottom tier consisted of &TV with 155,000 viewers, Rishtey with 142,000 viewers, Sony SAB TV with 138,000 viewers, Iqra TV with 123,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 82,000 viewers, ATN Bangla with 73,000 viewers, PTV Global with 60,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 55,000 viewers, ARY Family with 51,000 viewers, Geo Kahani with 40,000 viewers, NTV Europe with 39,000 viewers and Urdu 1 Europe with 25,000 viewers.
