UK TV Ratings: ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ launch episode tops Sony TV

Akshay Kumar’s hosted gameshow ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ has had an impressive start on Sony TV in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The show opened up with 45,000 viewers at 21:00, making it the biggest show on the channel on Monday. The debut episode saw Riteish Deshmukh and wife Genelia Deshmukh appear as celebrity guests.

Despite the ratings, Sony TV UK garnered a share of 0.07%. Utsav Plus remained the No.1 Hindi channel with 0.16% share. Its top rated shows were ‘Mr & Mrs Parshuram’ with 35,000 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 34,000 viewers.
