UK ratings: Zing overtakes Star Life Ok

Zing has bounced back in the ratings by overtaking Star’s second Hindi entertainment channel, Star Life Ok.

According to data for weekending Sunday 16th September, Zing’s weekly reach stood at 428,000 – that’s up from 103,000 from last week. Meanwhile, Star Life Ok was down to 390,000 from 396,000 last week.

Star Plus shot up to 1,269 from 1,099 the week before. It remained the UK’s most watched Hindi entertainment channel. UMP Movies was up to 841,000 from 762,000. Star Gold was in third with 661,000. Al Jazeera English was in fourth with 513,000. ARY News was hovering around 368,000.

Sunrise TV was next with 335,000. Sony SAB TV was up from 218,000 to 292,000. Sahara One was down from 341,000 to 267,000. UMP Stars was at the bottom with 239,000.
