UK ratings: UMP Movies reclaims second spot

After a few weeks being dislodged from the second spot in the UK ratings by Colors, UMP Movies bounced back, according to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 31st August.

Star Plus remained the most watched Asian channel in the UK with a weekly reach of 1,075,000 viewers (up from 1,057,000 viewers), UMP Movies was in second place climbing back up to 670,000 viewers (up from 645,000 viewers) and Colors was in third with 645,000 viewers (last week 609,000 viewers).

The others that followed were Rishtey with 601,000 viewers (up from 542,000), Star Gold with 509,000 (up from 469,000), Zing with 497,000 viewers (up from 479,000), Star Life Ok with 437,000 viewers (up from 379,000), Hum Europe with 431,000 viewers (down from 547,000 viewers), Sony SAB TV with 383,000 viewers (up from 374,000), Lamhe with 325,000 viewers (down from 362,000), PTC Punjabi with 166,000 viewers and PTV Global with 159,000 viewers (up from 206,000).

ARY News continued to remain ahead of the rest of the news channels with 587,000 viewers (down from 641,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 343,000 viewers, SAMAA TV with 226,000 viewers, ABP News with 252,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 228,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 190,000 viewers and News18 India with 43,000 viewers.
