UK ratings: UMP Movies back up to second place

UMP Movies managed to dislodge Colors from the number two position, according to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 8th June.

Star Plus was the top Asian TV channel with 999,000 viewers – but down on last week (1,122,000 viewers). UMP Movies had a weekly reach of 699,000 viewers (up from 697,000), while Colors, which was in third place delivered 618,000 viewers and Rishtey in fourth with 600,000 viewers. Zing rounded off the Top 5 with 520,000 viewers.

The next tier saw Sony SAB TV with 472,000 viewers, Lamhe in seventh with 486,000 viewers, Star Life Ok in eighth with 462,000 viewers, Star Life Ok with 344,000 viewers next and PTV Global got 155,000 viewers – up from 147,000 viewers last week.

ARY News continued to dominate the South Asian news channels with 375,000 viewers, followed by Geo News with 234,000 viewers and NDTV 24×7 was next with 210,000 viewers. ABP News was in fourth 194,000 viewers, followed by Aaj Tak with 171,000 viewers, SAMAA TV with 143,000 viewers and News18 India last with 94,000 viewers.
