UK ratings: &TV grabs No.2 & Zing takes No.3
It was the power of the ZEE Network channels in latest UK ratings with &TV inching closer to the top spot and Zing moving up to No.3.
According to official data for week ending 13th December, Star Plus dropped to a weekly reach of 887,000 viewers (last week 966,000 viewers), followed by &TV with 705,000 viewers (last week 644,000 viewers) and Zing increased its reach from 584,000 viewers to 684,000 viewers. Colors slipped to fourth place with 658,000 viewers (last week 653,000 viewers) and UMP Movies was in fifth with 590,000 viewers (last week 733,000 viewers).
The next tier consisted of Rishtey with 583,000 viewers, followed by Hum TV with 503,000 viewers, Star Gold with 417,000 viewers, Geo TV with 380,000 viewers, SAB TV with 361,000 viewers and Life Ok remained low with 284,000 viewers.
The bottom tier consisted of Prime TV with 196,000 viewers, Brit Asia TV with 189,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 186,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 177,000 viewers, Venus TV with 169,000 viewers, PTV Global with 140,000 viewers, DM Global with 99,000 viewers, TV 99 and Akaal Channel with 93,000 viewers.
ARY News dominated the UK South Asian news genre with a reach of 487,000 viewers (last week 473,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 268,000 viewers, ABP News with 253,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 233,000 viewers, SAMAA TV with 202,000 viewers, Geo Tez with 201,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 144,000 viewers, Dunya TV with 129,000 viewers and News18 India with 70,000 viewers.
