UK ratings: Rishtey replaces UMP Movies in second

Rishtey has dislodged UMP Movies from the second position to become the second most watched Asian entertainment channel in the UK, according to data from BARB for week ending 22nd September.

Star Plus continued to be the leader of the pack with a weekly reach of 1,078,000 viewers, followed by Rishtey with 830,000 viewers and UMP Movies closely behind with 823,000 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were Colors (681,000), Zing (598,000), Star Gold (539,000), Sony SAB TV (487,000) and Star Life Ok (454,000).

In the news genre, Al Jazeera English dominated the pack with 1,002,000 viewers, followed by ARY News with 327,000, Geo News with 297,000 and Aaj Tak slipping to third with 270,000 viewers.
