The first lot of data from official UK TV audience measuring body, BARB for Rishtey shows that the channel has made a decent start by beating Star TV’s second entertainment channel Life Ok.
According to data for week ending Sunday 28th October, Rishtey had a weekly reach of 481,000, whereas Star Life Ok was not too far behind with 416,000.
Rishtey was a long shot away from beating market leader, Star Plus, which retained the top spot with a reach of 1,223,000. UMP Movies was back up to second with 716,000. Star Gold slipped back to third with 604,000. Zing continued its upswing with 502,000 – down from 553,000 – the previous week.
Sunrise TV was in the bottom tier with 353,000, Sony SAB TV climbed up the rankings with a reach of 227,000. Sahara One was down slightly with 210,000. UMP Stars was bottom with its heavy on repeat programming. The channel delivered a reach of 176,000.
