Sony Entertainment Television’s big ticket gameshow ‘Dus Ka Dum’ hosted by Salman Khan got off to a good start in UK ratings on Monday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
The popular show, which returned after nine-years was watched by 20,700 viewers, with an impressive share of 0.11%. When compared the data with Sony TV’s previous huge gameshow ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ last August, the show opened up with a bigger audience of 24,000 viewers but a smaller share of 0.04%.
‘Dus Ka Dum’ is touted as of Sony TV’s big shows this summer, along with ‘Zindagi Ke Crossroads’, ‘Indian Idol’ and the next season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. ‘Dus Ka Dum’ and ‘Zindagi Ke Crossroads’ are differentiated programmes to breakaway from the clutter of fictional programming during weekdays filled by Hindi entertainment channels.
