Two new Asians added to Channel 4 news line-up

Channel 4 has confirmed it has signed up two new Asian faces to be a part of the channel’s new news presenting line-up.

Asha Tanna and Fatima Manji have been roped in as Science Reporter and general reporter respectively. Asha, who has previously worked for Sky News, will cover stories from the Science sector. Fatima will report on general news stories. She joins Channel 4 after a couple years as a trainee at BBC East.

Jon Snow and Krishnan Guru Murthy will be the main faces for the Channel 4 news, alongside newcomer Cathy Newman.
