TV99 lines up TV One Pakistan shows
Free-to-air entertainment channel, TV99 has had an on-air makeover and launched a flurry of new shows from Pakistani broadcasting, TV One.
The shows will be broadcast across the week with flagship breakfast show ‘Aap Ka Sahir’ being aired at 09:00 each morning. Other shows include ‘New York Se New Karachi’, ‘Main Chup Rahungi’, ‘Jaltay Gulab’, ‘Mohabbat Ho Gai Tum Se’, ‘Band Khirkyon Kay Peechay’, ‘Anjanay Nagar’, ‘Mann Se Poocho’, ‘Hulla Ray, ‘Ideals’, ‘Shaggo’ and ‘Noori’.
The channel has gone heavy on the newly imported shows from TV One. It has removed Bollywood movies from its weeknight schedule, with only weekend afternoon movies remaining on the channel. There’s also a handful of local shows remaining, which make the rest of TV 99’s schedule.
Earlier this week, BizAsiaLive.com had revealed that another UK broadcaster – DM Global had signed a deal with Aaj TV for new news and entertainment shows.
