&TV to premiere ‘Fitoor’ & ‘Aligarh’ this week

&TV UK will be luring viewers to its channel this weekend by premiering two big movies.

BizAsiaLive.com can reveal, the channel has scheduled ‘Fitoor’ and ‘Aligarh’ to air on Saturday and Sunday.

‘Aligarh’ is a true story of Dr. Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation. It stars Manoj Bajpayee and Sukhesh Arora. ‘Aligarh’ will air at 21:30 on Saturday 30th July.

Meanwhile, ‘Fitoor’ is about a poor but talented Kashmiri boy Noor, who is hired as a stable-keeper by Begum. He is deeply infatuated with her daughter Firdaus. Begum notices his actions and sends Firdaus to London. The film stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaif and Tabu. ‘Fitoor’ will premiere on Sunday 31st July at 21:30.

&TV UK has recently been tweaking its schedule with a number of new shows including the recently launched ‘The Voice India’, which kicked off to good viewing figures over the weekend. Plus, new fictions ‘Tere Bin’ and ‘Waaris’.
