Tighter security for SRK at Mens Hockey Opening after Kalinga Sena threat

If news is to be believed, extra security is being organised for Shah Rukh Khan, after a threat from the Kalinga community, who call themselves the Kalinga Sena, threatened to throw ink of the actors face when he arrives for the opening of the Mens Hockey World cup.

“We will take adequate security measures for the visit of Shah Rukh Khan during hockey world cup. However, the schedule of the actor is yet to reach,” Hindustan Times reports Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahu expressing.

Having been offended by the portrayal of their heritage also known as the Odisha society, in Khan’s 2001 historical drama ‘Asoka’ the group have also sated how they will be flying black flags in protest on Khan’s arrival. Khan has also been demanding to apologise for hurting the groups sentiments in the film, despite the film having been release 17 years ago.
