Tiger Shroff replaces Shahid Kapoor in ‘Heer and Ranjha’

Just one-film-old actor Tiger Shroff, who made his debut with the movie ‘Heropanti’ this year, has garnered huge accolade for his acting and dancing abilities for his maiden venture. With his increasing popularity amongst the audiences, producers are also keen to sign him in their projects. The very athletic actor has listed himself amongst most sough-after actors of the industry as he today has many projects in his hands.

According to Bollywood Life, earlier actor Shahid Kapoor was roped in Shabbir Khan’s next to essay the role of Raanjha in the movie ‘Heer and Raanjha’, which will be played by Shroff now.

Although there were rumours about Kriti Sanon or Jacqueline Fernandez playing the female lead role in the movie but the director has rubbished all such reports. He said, “No female lead has been signed yet for the film.”

‘Heer and Raanjha’ is a romantic drama. The movie is in initial stages. It is expected to go on floors in January next year.

Well, time will tell, who will be paired opposite Shroff in the movie. It would be interesting to see contemporary ‘Heer and Raanjha’ on the silver screen.
