‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ under pressure to change film name?

Since the project was announced a few months ago, ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ has been under the spotlight for his star cast and concept.

The latest buzz doing the rounds is that the film could be forced to change its name. According to a report in DNA India, an unknown actress was cited saying, “This comes close on the heels of Aamir Khan beginning to shoot for his next film with YRF — Thugs Of Hindostan. Now wonder if the censor board will want them to change the title of the film. ‘Because how can Hindustan have thugs?’

It will be interesting to see if CBFC pile on the pressure on the makers of the film to tweak its title. However, there’s still time yet before CBFC gets to see the film.

It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif.
