Three TV channels disappear from Sky EPG

Three Asian TV channels have suddenly been removed from the Sky Digital EPG today.

The disappearance of the three channels is not linked but a coincidence. The channels in question are DM Digital, Hidiyat TV and recently launched religious service, Disha TV.

According to DM Digital’s website, the channel will be returning at midday on Thursday. It states, “DM Digital TV transmission will resume Thursday Mid-day in the UK. There is a technical problem with the Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) updating software in the UK.”

Hidiyat TV and Disha TV both are continuing to broadcast off the EPG but no word on when they will be returning back to their EPG homes.

Update: Hidiyat TV and DM Digital returned to their respective EPG numbers. There are currently no plans for Disha TV to relaunch. Surprisingly, the channel had only replaced Aastha TV in mid-October.
