Tarun Katial to overlook content production at ZEEL

The Chief Executive Office of Reliance Broadcast Network, Tarun Katial is reportedly set to be given extra responsibilities with ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL).

Katial will overlook the TV content production at Essel Vision Productions Limited (EVPL) and original content for digital. He is expected to continue heading the Reliance channels – Big Ganga, Big Magic and Big FM radio, which are now under the ZEEL umbrella. Since the acquisition of the Reliance channels by ZEEL, Katial has been reporting to Punit Goenka, MD and CEO of ZEEL. He will continue to report to Goenka.

Katial was cited in Best Media Info saying, “I have just got some additional responsibilities and that’s all about it. There is not much change. This is part of our integration with ZEEL and I am happy to work alongside Punit.”
