‘Talvar’ required extensive research for Meghna Gulzar & Vishal Bhardwaj

‘Talvar’ based on the 2008 murder of fourteen year old Aarushi Talwar and the family’s domestic help Hemraj has been a research driven film. The director Meghna Gulzar and producer Vishal Bhardwaj��had their��teams research extensively, for over two years to depict three different sides to the story.

As according to Mid-Day, a statement from the makers revealed that the pre and post-production of the��’Talvar’ cost the same, as they didn’t want to leave any stone unturned. Co-producer Priti Shahani of Junglee Pictures commented, “Vishal-ji and Meghna have had extensive research teams, who have researched for over two years prior to commencing shoot for the film to give all sides of the case.”

‘Talvar’ is slated to release on 2nd October and stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Tabu, and Irrfan Khan.
