Tabu turned down Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’

Contrary to previous reports, new has it that actress Tabu will not be doing Zoya Akhtar’s next film.

The project, titled ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, revolves around a Punjabi family. According to Times of India,��although Akhtar offered the actress a part in the film, she declined. However, rumour has it that she may make a small appearance.

Reports also did the rounds that Akhtar also had the likes of Madhuri Dixi-Nene as well as Sridevi in mind, however nothing has been confirmed.

Although still in it’s early stages, the film will see Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra sharing the screen again. However this time they are set to play brother and sister. The film will also star Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar as well as veteran actor Anil Kapoor.
