Sylvester Stallone impressed with ‘Sultan’

Ali Abbas Zafar last directed ‘Sultan’ (2016) which was a hit for Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma earlier this year. The director has revealed that he narrated the film’s story to Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone who loved the idea.

“I met Stallone, while doing research and getting my martial arts team from LA. I met him for a brief interaction and he kind of heard the story. He said ‘Wow, what a story. This could be a story which can easily be done in America.’ Because it’s about an underdog who has lost everything and is trying to get his self esteem back,” said Zafar to PTI.

The film was a story about a wrestler who retires due to family circumstances and his journey back to win his love back.
