Sushant’s lookalike Sachin Tiwari to star in film inspired by late actor
Filmmaker Shamik Maulik has confirmed a new film ‘Suicide or Murder’, which will be based on the life of late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput.
Maulik has signed newcomer Sachin Tiwari, known for his work on TikTok. Tiwari, who is being introduced as the “outsider” in the film, is reported to be a lookalike of Rajput. The film is conceived and produced by Vijay Shekhar Gupta.
The first look of the film was posted on new OTT platform, VSG Binge, with the caption, “A boy from small-town became a Shining Star in the film industry. This is his journey. Gupta was cited in BollywoodLife saying, “Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide came as a shock to all of us, but it is not new. Many actors who come to the industry to accomplish their dreams of making it big here, end up not getting work. Many take this route, and some keep struggling all their lives. So, we wanted to tell a story of how actors from small towns, who don’t have godfathers in Bollywood, struggle. We will be revealing other characters one by one.
