Sunrise Radio announces Radio Presenters Academy

Sunrise Radio has announced the launch of the Sunrise Radio, Radio Presenters Academy in October 2014 – an initiative of the Chairman Gurdev Jassi.

Gurdev says, ���Over the years I�۪ve been one of Sunrise Radio�۪s most loyal listeners and also an advertiser, I�۪ve had great rewards on both counts. Sunrise Radio is now in its 25th year of broadcasting to London�۪s Asian community and over the years the radio station has grown and evolved producing many talented radio Presenters. Some of these Presenters have gone on to enjoy careers in TV and mainstream broadcasting.

As the Chairman of Sunrise Radio, along with the Management and Team of Radio Presenters I see it as my responsibility to ensure that Sunrise Radio 963/972 continues to offer the opportunity to any new talent, for the chance to become the next voice of Asian Radio. It�۪s with great pride I announce the opening of the Sunrise Radio ��� Radio Presenters Academy, which will provide free training to any new budding Radio Presenter. Training will be provided by our team of talented on-air Radio Presenters.�۝

Sunrise Radio MD Tony Lit comments, ���Gurdev Jassi was one of the influences on my return to radio. His passion for Sunrise Radio and his community spirit are immeasurable. Gurdev is well known for his Charity work both in the local community and abroad. His work in the local community has given kids and young people the opportunity to pursue activities in both sport and education that they otherwise wouldn�۪t had. We have some great plans and the future is looking very exciting.�۝

The official opening of the Sunrise Radio ��� Radio Presenters Academy will be in October 2014. Training will be free.
