Sunny Singh roped in for ‘Chashme Baddoor’ sequel?

It has been reported that a sequel to ‘Chashme Baddoor’ (2013), is on the cards. This time, the film will feature Sunny Singh, who was last seen in ‘Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety” (2018).

According to Bollywood Life, Sajid Samji will be making his solo directorial debut and word is Fatima Sana Shaikh has been approached to play the female lead, the producers are waiting for her confirmation.

Originally, Kartik Aaryan and Jacqueline Fernandez were the first choice for the film, but makers have now decided on a fresh pairing. “The idea was to have a fresh pairing, and after Sunny who is being appreciated for his special appearance in the recently released De De Pyaar De came on board, the makers are now in talks with Fatima and hopeful of getting her nod,” a close source shared.

The filmmakers are also still looking for more names to add for the supporting cast roles. ‘Chashme Baddoor’ is due to go on floor by the end of this year and will be financed by ZEE studios.
