Sunny Leone: “I’m glad my hard work has finally paid off”

Sunny Leone, after being a part of a handful of Bollywood films since here debut, is being seen next in ‘Raees’ in which she has an item song. She believe this is the result of her hard work.

Talking to New Indian Express, Leone explained, “If you work hard and you are persistent and professional, things will work for you. I’m glad my hard work has finally paid off. I am very determined, hard working and sincere in whatever I do. If I had bothered about what people say about me, I would have packed my bags and gone home by now. Success comes with determination and perseverance. I am not insecure”.

She also went on to speak about how the shoot was difficult for her, “I have to work hard to do it right. After 10 days of rehearsals, I managed to do this song. It was not easy”.

The song, Laila Main Laila, is a new version of an old classic. On this, Leone added, “We didn’t do the same moves as we wanted to pay tribute to the song. We couldn’t recreate the song as it was wonderful and it was appreciated all these years. This one is more upbeat and we have a different look”.

‘Raees’ is due to release on 25th January and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan.
