Subhash Ghai�۪s surprise for ‘Kaanchi’ actress Mishti

Mishti, who is debuting with Subhash Ghai�۪s ��Kaanchi�۪, says she herself was not informed that she had been selected as the lead actress of the film until the day of the announcement.�� Although the veteran filmmaker is popularly known for introducing actresses to the industry, he kept this one as a surprise even for the lady herself.

���Subhashji never disclosed that I had already been selected, as the heroine.�� He would say that I would be working with him as his assistant and he also made me wear thick glasses.�� Until the day he made the announcement officially, no one informed me that I was his heroine,�۝ she told Deccan Chronicle.

The actress has been signed on for a three film contract with Ghai�۪s production house, Mukta Arts.

��Kaanchi�۪ will be releasing on 25th April.
