Star Plus UK to launch new weekend strand ‘Star Picks’

Star Plus UK is ramping up its weekend programme schedule, with the launch of a new strand ‘Star Picks’.

The slot will air alternative content to breakaway from the clutter on other Asian TV channels. ‘Star Picks’ launches on Saturday 30th March 2019, with three new shows being broadcast from India’s Epic Channel. The slot will consist of two cookery shows ‘Tyohaar Ki Thaali’ and ‘Raja Rasoi Aur Andaaz Anokha’. The third show is ‘Stories By Rabindranath Tagore’, which is a personification of classic short stories by Bengali polymath Tagore from his most fecund period.

The channel will also air the fourth season of ‘Gumrah’, which previously aired on Channel V India. It will broadcast at 22:30.

In between, Star Plus UK will air its popular ‘The Voice’ reality show and supernatural series ‘Divya Drishti’

‘Star Picks’ launches on Saturday 30th March between 18:00 – 23:30.
