Star Plus UK to bring back ‘Dopahar’ slot this month
Star Plus UK is bringing back its ‘Star Plus Dopahar’ slot in a new format.
The slot, which was axed late last year due to falling ratings, will come back with a string of classic shows from the Star TV library from Monday 19th February.
The channel will retain the ‘Star Plus Dopahar’ slot. It will re-jig its afternoon programming with the introduction of six shows. This will result in ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ moving from its exiting 14:30 slot to 11:30.
BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively reveal that the following shows will air during Star Plus’ afternoons:
13:00 – Ek Veer Ki Ardaas – Veera
13:30 – Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil
14:00 – Saraswatichandra
14:30 – Diya Aur Baati Hum
15:00 – Tumhari Paakhi
15:30 – Maharaja Ranjit Singh
Post the 16:00 slot, the channel will return to repeat episodes of its primetime shows.
To add weight to its campaign, Star Plus has roped in ‘Ishqbaaaz’ stars Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna to boost the ‘Star Plus Dopahar’ launch in UK.
