Star Plus to show ‘Big Star Ent’ment Awards’

To end 2010 on a high, Star Plus has confirmed the telecast of the ‘Big Star Entertainment Awards’, which will be aired on New Year�۪s Eve.

The event’s highlight will be Abhishek Bachchan paying a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan for his 40 years�۪ contribution to cinema.

The special show consists of acts by the ‘Golmaal’ team, plus a dance number by Sonakshi Sinha and Sonam Kapoor. Sports personalities Harbhajan Singh and Vijendra Singh will also play an important part of the special programme. Furthermore, actors from TV shows from Star Plus and other channels will appear in a melody of songs.

The ‘Big Star Entertainment Awards’ will be shown on Star Plus UK on Friday 31st December at 22:00.
