Star Plus to axe ‘Krishna Chali London’?

Star Plus is re-evaluating its programme strategy and is getting rid of shows that are underperforming in ratings. With the exit of ‘Ishqbaaz’ already confirmed for this month, it is now being reported that ‘Krishna Chali London’ will be the next to face the chop.

The show, which started off well, has been struggling in ratings, despite a cast change and a tweak to its storyline. Its male lead Gaurav Sareen was killed off, to make way for Karan Vohra, but the change has not translated into a change in audience figures.

It is expected that the show will remain on-air for a few more weeks, with some reports suggesting a number of new characters are being introduced to ramp up the story.
