STAR Plus ends ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii’

Rumours are rife that STAR Plus is axing one of its popular show ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii’ after seven years on-air, within the next month.

A report in Mumbai Mirror suggests ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii’ produced by Balaji Telefilms will come to a natural end by either end of this month or early October.

The reasons for the show being discontinued are not clearly known. Balaji Telefilms is working to bring the show to a logical conclusion.

“STAR Plus is quite happy with the show. It is just that the story can’t be stretched any further.

STAR and Balaji had a long discussion a few days ago, and in the best interests of the viewers, they took a decision to end the show,” our source added.

Anupama Mandloi (Senior Creative Director, STAR India) and Ekta Kapoor remained unavailable for comment.
