Star Plus confirms launch of ‘Ruk Jaana Nahin’

Star Plus has confirmed the launch of new show ‘Ruk Jaana Nahin’ launching in December in an early-primetime slot.

Despite rumours earlier about the show replacing ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya’, ‘Ruk Jaana Nahin’ will be taking the Monday to Friday 18:30 band, from Monday 19th December. The slot currently has a repeat telecast of ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’.

‘Ruk Jaana Nahin’ is the story of Saanchi who chooses to fight her problems by applying her intelligence in a male-dominated society which frowns upon the trend of women stepping out of their homes to study and work. The programme portrays a strong woman who shows that it is possible to win in an exploitative man�۪s world – not by confronting, but by using her wits and intelligence.

Another show, which was touted to launch in December ‘Sasuma’ may now launch in January but BizAsia.co.uk awaits confirmation on the same.
