Star Plus confirms launch date of ‘Saathiya 2’ replacing ‘YRHPK’

Star Plus has confirmed the launch date for ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya – Season 2’, replacing ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’.

In its first dated promo, Star Plus has unveiled ‘Saathiya 2’ will launch on Monday 19th October at 21:00 (India) and 19:00 (UK).

While fans of ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ have been expressing their anger at Star Plus for axing the Rajan Shahi produced show, the broadcaster has gone ahead with launching ‘Saathiya 2’. While ratings have dropped over the last few weeks of ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’, it remains a firm favourite among fans online.

‘Saathiya 2’ starring Devoleena Bhattacharjee as Gopi, Mohammad Nazim as Ahem Modi and Rupal Patel as Kokilaben, will return in a whole new avatar with some exciting new characters. Harsh Nagar and Sneha Jain will play the new lead pair in the popular series.
