The much awaited Star Parivaar Live event in London, which had been scheduled for May at Wembley Arena, is reportedly facing yet another setback.
The star-studded event headlined by Mika Singh and hosted by ‘SaraswatiChandra’ star Gautam Rode, is rumoured to be delayed again due to management changes at the popular UK Asian TV broadcaster. The event has been doomed this year after a number of delays. It was initially set to take place last year, then postponed to February and May this year, and now looks like the event could be moved to later this year.
The teaser “coming soon” promos of the event that were being broadcast on Star TV have also been removed, fueling the “delay” rumours further. The broadcaster was expected to announce the event last week but this did not happen.
Star TV UK is undergoing some of the biggest ever management changes since the departures of Yeshpal Sharma, the Senior Vice President of Star TV UK & Europe and Rajan Singh, Executive Vice President for Star TV. Sanjay Gupta, Star TV COO is expected to lead the network until a replacement to head the UK network has been found.
When BizAsia contacted Star TV about the story, it refused to comment. It is yet to confirm or deny the Star Parivaar Live being pushed back.
