STAR packs out April schedule with blockbusters

STAR Plus is intensifying the fight for eyeballs further this April with a string of non-stop entertaining shows lined up to keep viewers enticed.

Beside the usual film premieres, STAR Plus will also be celebrating the success of its programme with the annual STAR Parivaar Awards. The ceremony will be screened on STAR Plus UK on Sunday 9th April at 21:00.

Coinciding with the Easter/Vaisakhi celebrations, the channel has also lined up repeats of its Shah Rukh Khan special interviews. Screened last December, the Inner and Outer World of Shah Rukh Khan will be shown on Sunday 9th April at midday.

Repeats of 12th Annual STAR Screen Awards and IIFA Awards 2005 have also been scheduled.

Shah Rukh Khan mania will continue on STAR Plus in April with the premiere of Paheli on Saturday 29th April at 21:00. There’s also Swades, which gets its UK premiere on the channel on Saturday 15th April. Along with premieres, repeats of popular films Black, Main Hoon Naa and Sarkar will also be shown.

April will also see the new series of chat show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. Personalities on the show in April include: Priyanka Chopra on 2nd April, Sanjay Khan, Zarine Khan and Zayed Khan on 9th April, Zayed Khan with his sisters and wife on 16th April, John Abraham on 23rd April, Sanjay Dutt on 30th April.
