Star channels launch on KPN in the Netherlands

KPN, the largest IPTV operator in the Netherlands has launched two premium rated channels from the Star Network, a wholly owned subsidiary of News Corporation.

KPN has launched its range of South Asian television entertainment offering to the South Asian diaspora in the Netherlands, including the premium Star Plus and Star News channels. Star News will be carried in the KPN Basic Pack, and Star Plus will be carried in the Hindi Pack.

Commenting on the launch, Yeshpal Sharma, Vice President Star UK & Europe says, “Star Network is the leading TV content provider in several territories worldwide. We are very pleased to partner with KPN in providing the best of India entertainment to the Asian diaspora in the Netherlands.”

Star Plus is available on Channel Number 89 and Star News is available on Channel Number 90.
