SRK to celebrate 50th birthday with fans

Earlier this week, BizAsia reported that Shah Rukh Khan would be celebrating his 50th birthday (on 2nd November) in a quiet fashion. However, it’s now come to light that he will in fact be bringing in the special day with his beloved fans.

It is a tradition that the actor usually appears before the media at his house Mannat on his birthday every year. He takes questions from the press and cuts his birthday cake before waving out to his fans as a sign of appreciation as they stand outside waiting for a glimpse of their favourite star. This year will, however, be a little different with a special event at a star hotel where fans will have the opportunity to meet the actor.

A source told Deccan Chronicle, “SRK�۪s team is planning everything with him in the loop of course. His team has gotten in touch with some of his fan clubs and asked them to send a list of the biggest fans who will be attending the event. Wristbands have been made for the invitees to avoid confusion and chaos. Shah Rukh will meet these people in person and later also take pictures with them”.

This year, the trailer of the actor’s forthcoming film ‘Fan’ will also be unveiled on his birthday.

Khan will arrive back in Mumbai on 1st November from the shoot of ‘Dilwale’ in Hyderabad.
