It’s not so much a craze as such but underwater scenes in B-town film are a rarity. Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan have done it for their respective films in the past and now it seems Shah Rukh Khan is all set to do the same for the forthcoming ‘Happy New Year’.

Farah Khan has got underwater cameraman and cinematographer from Italy, Franz Pagot, involved to make sure the scenes are done just right. Talking to Hindustan Times, Pagot said, “I am working in the next Shah Rukh Khan film. It definitely has underwater scenes with him. I۪ll be here mostly through Christmas”.

Pagot had a meeting with Khan and Farah during his time at the International Film Festival of India, as he reveals, “I had a meeting (with them) regarding the logistics. My presence is required for 14 days. They are still planning the shooting dates, but we discussed some shots. I think it (the underwater sequence) will be shot in India.”

Pagot has worked on Bollywood films previously and feels the 3D part of cinema has a long way to go in Indian cinema.
