SRK & Sanjay Leela Bhansali eager to work together

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and one of India’s most prolific filmmakers, Sanjay Leela Bhansali are looking ever likely to team up together for a new project.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Khan and Bhansali bumped into each other at the Mirchi Music Awards earlier this week and reportedly spoke about a possible collaboration. The report adds that King Khan touched the Bhansali matriarch’s feet and was met with blessings and a hug. A source told the paper, “Shah Rukh patiently waited for Bhansali and sat next to him. The two immediately got talking about movies.”

The source adds, “SRK has been eager to work with Bhansali and even requested him to direct a film which could be co-produced by them.”

The paper also reported that after the awards function, the duo headed out for a late dinner at Bhansali’s residence and chatted for a number of hours.

Bhansali was expected to announce his next project to coincide with his 53rd birthday last month but this was postponed. Reports say Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are set to star in Bhansali’s next film for the third time. So is this still going ahead or has King Khan’s recent meeting with Bhansali given him a change of mind?
