SRK pops into ZEE TV’s ‘Punar Vivaah’ wedding

ZEE TV�۪s hit show ‘Punar Vivaah’ will be marking the upcoming huge wedding storyline with the entry of Bollywood King, Shah Rukh Khan.

With the wedding of the protagonists Yash (played by Gurmeet Chaudhary) and Aarti (played by Kratika Sengar) just around the corner, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen blessing the couple as they both remarry.

“I think remarriage is still a taboo topic in many sections of our society and I completely fail to understand why. Aren�۪t widows or divorcees entitled to giving life a second chance? Can they not hope to find marital bliss with another person if their first attempt was a failure? As compared to the past, though there are many more people opting for second marriages today, there is still a gender bias. While men are encouraged to find a second life partner, women still find their own relatives frowning at the prospect of their remarriage. I�۪m really glad to see that Punar Vivaah is going the extra mile to change the public mindset about the subject!�۝ said Shah Rukh Khan at the promo shoot.

Incidentally, Shah Rukh Khan is supporting the channel at the back of his promotion for the World TV Premiere of ‘Don 2’ being aired on ZEE Cinema and ZEE TV in India next week.

The wedding episodes of ‘Punar Vivaah’ will be shown on ZEE TV on Tuesday 3rd April and Wednesday 4th April at 22:30.
