SRK launches ZEE One in Germany
ZEE Network’s lucky mascot and Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan has attended the launch of ZEE One, an entertainment channel for the German market.
Khan has a close relationship with the ZEE family. Recently, Khan attended the launch of &TV in the UK. Khan had taken to Instagram earlier today to post a selfie when he landed in Germany. While he was at the event, Khan met with Pascal Breuer, the professional German voiceover artist.
ZEE One, which launched this evening, is available free-to-air in Germany and is set to broadcast Bollywood movies and fictions from the ZEE TV library in the local language. Targeting women between the ages of 19 and 59, ZEE One’s premium content will be specifically adapted for the German market. Most of the content will be premiering on German television and will be broadcast in HD. From autumn on, the channel plans to develop and produce its own show formats like magazine shows. ZEE One will be receivable via satellite (Astra) and cable (Vodafone, Unitymedia, Telecolumbus) and will soon be available on more platforms in the German market.
